About Jamie Johnston

Since first picking up a camera I have always loved sports and motorsport photography, I am someone who is very driven and always determined to deliver the very best photographs possible to any client.

I’m proud to say I’m now in my third season covering professional football and rugby and feel privileged to have captured and witnessed first hand some fantastic sporting moments .

I also have a huge passion for Motorsport and when I’m not beside a football or rugby pitch I can be found attending motorsport events when time allows!

My work includes the SPFL, Champions League, Scottish Cup as well as International Rugby (Six Nations & Autumn Tests) and URC Rugby Championship fixtures and also cover Motorsports events. I also have a BA (Hons) degree in Photography from Edinburgh Napier University. 

My photographs have been published in national and regional newspapers including; The Times, The Sunday Times, Daily Telegraph, Sunday Mail, Daily Record both online and in print (See tear-sheets) .

In addition to ball based sport I regularly provide my photography for a wide range of other clients covering subjects such as Motorsport events, large-scale cross-country events as well as PR work.
